Everton have been linked with Cenk Tosun of Besiktas in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Everton believed that they had agreed a £25 million deal to sign Tosun, only for Besiktas to raise their asking price.

The report has claimed that this has led to a stand-off over the transfer fee, despite the 26-year-old forward flying to London to complete the deal to join the Toffees.
The Mirror has claimed that Turkish giants Besiktas now want over £27m as transfer fee for the Turkey international forward.

It has also been reported that the Premier League club are ready to pull the plug on the deal if Besiktas continue to demand a higher price.
Tosun has scored eight goals and provided one assist in 16 league matches for Besiktas so far this season, and has scored four goals and provided two assists in six Champions League appearances, according to WhoScored.
