Liverpool are reportedly eyeing up Christian Pulisic as a possible replacement for Philippe Coutinho.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, should the Brazilian leave Anfield this summer.
Whilst Liverpool have boosted their attacking options by signing Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke, they now face a battle to keep hold of playmaker Coutinho amid strong interest from Barcelona.

The Mirror claim that Coutinho – wanted by Barcelona as a replacement for potentially PSG-bound Neymar – is keen to join the Catalan giants, and will push for a move in the near future.
Liverpool would command a fee of around £100million in order to let the former Inter Milan youngster leave the club this summer, given that he excelled under Klopp last season with 13 goals and seven assists.
Losing Coutinho would be a huge blow for Liverpool, and it’s reported that Klopp would want to bring in Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Christian Pulisic as his replacement should Coutinho’s exit be approved.
Pulisic, 18, was signed by Klopp at Dortmund back in 2015, and he has since become a first-team star at Signal Iduna Park, notching four goals and eight assists in all competitions last season.

The American has been tipped to become one of the stars of the future, and Klopp may now look to reunite with the teenager in a big-money deal if Coutinho does make his move to Spain.
With pace and dribbling ability, as well as huge potential, Pulisic would be a huge signing for Liverpool, though the youngster would be under huge pressure given that he would always have the tag of being Coutinho’s replacement if Liverpool did sign him.
