According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Torino have made the first move to sign Leeds United target Christian Kouame from Fiorentina.
It’s claimed that Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati is in talks with Fiorentina counterpart Daniele Prade over two potential January deals.
One of them involves attacker Kouame, as Torino have allegedly made a loan-to-buy offer worth around €16million (£14.5million).
They also want Alfred Duncan in what could be a double deal, but Leeds United may be gutted to hear the news about Kouame.
La Nazione reported last week that Marcelo Bielsa has picked out Kouame and Fiorentina teammate Erick Pulgar, and has urged Leeds to sign both players in a double deal.
With Torino lining up a double raid of their own though, Leeds may end up missing out on Kouame during his month’s transfer window.

The 23-year-old’s record with Fiorentina is far from stellar, as he has only picked up two goals and two assists in 23 outings for the Serie A side.
Kouame is though quick and able to play up front or out wide, which may just appeal to Bielsa – but if Leeds want the Ivorian, they may have to move quickly.
