Sunderland are reportedly interested in signing the Liverpool youngster on loan.

The Black Cats have been heavily linked with a move for the exciting Liverpool forward, who played under Coleman when he was the manager of the Wales national team.

Liverpool were open to letting Woodburn leave on loan to gain experience, but Jurgen Klopp had expressed reservations about losing the youngster following Philippe Coutinho’s £142 million move to Barcelona.
However, with Mohamed Salah set to return from injury before the weekend, the Liverpool manager is ready to discuss the situation with Sunderland officials this week.

The Black Cats are hoping that the teenage striker will be given the green light to move to Wearside within the next seven days.
Sunderland are on the brink of signing Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter on loan for the rest of the season. Coleman would like to bring four to five new faces at the Stadium of Light this month, but with no funds available to the manager, a lot will depend on what happens in terms of outgoing transfers.
