It has been reported that the Chinese Super League outfit are hoping to seal a deal for Cisse.
It has also been claimed that Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez is happy to listen to offers for the 31-year-old Senegal international striker.
Should Newcastle United sell Papiss Cisse?
Cisse is a decent striker and has okay for Newcastle so far in his career, but perhaps it is time for him to move on.
The 31-year-old scored just three goals and created only 10 chances in 21 Premier League appearances for the Magpies this past season.
The Championship is a very tough and rigorous league, and Cisse may struggle in the second tier of English football. Perhaps if Newcastle get a decent offer for Cisse, then they should sell the striker.
