Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham will join Aston Villa on loan on transfer deadline day, according to The Sun.

It has been reported that Abraham will complete his loan move from Premier League club Chelsea to Championship side Villa before today’s 5pm deadline.

Nottingham Forest to miss out?

Nottingham Forest have also been linked with Abraham, but it seems that Aitor Karanka’s side will miss out on the 20-year-old striker.

A recent report in The Nottingham Forest claimed of Forest’s interest in the England international striker – who earns £50,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

Abraham was successful during his loan spell in the Championship with Bristol City in 2016-17, and the youngster would have been a good signing for Forest.

Good signing for Aston Villa?

The England international knows the division well, and the 20-year-old would be a very smart signing for Villa this summer.

The Villans are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season, and the arrival of Abraham will give them a huge boost.
