Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion are hoping to loan the Chelsea defender.

Kurt Zouma will hold talks with Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday, with the Chelsea defender set leave the Premier League champions on loan, according to Sky Sports.

Zouma, a £12.4 million capture from Saint-Etienne in 2014 [Transfermarkt], has been pushed down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, following last week’s capture of Antonio Rudiger from Roma.

And another Chelsea centre-back, Andreas Christensen, has rejoined Antonio Conte’s ranks following a two-year loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.

Stoke loanee Bruno Martins Indi has returned to parent club Porto, while West Brom allowed Jonas Olsson to leave ahead of his contract expiring earlier this summer – creating vacancies for both teams in Zouma’s position.

Capped twice by France, the 22-year-old had established himself as a regular for the Blues until injury struck 18 months ago, but has featured just 14 times under Conte.

Stoke have made three signings so far this summer, including the West Brom captain Darren Fletcher, whose former club have brought in two new faces.

Which club should Zouma choose – Stoke City or West Bromwich Albion?
