The 20-year-old’s current deal at Stamford Bridge expires this summer, and Liverpool have decided to hand him a contract after he impressed on trial with the Reds.

The former Brighton youngster will be looking to develop at Anfield and kick on to become a first-team player, and will aim to prove Chelsea wrong for letting him go.

Whilst the move won’t grab headlines like Brewster and Solanke, Liverpool clearly feel that there is untapped potential in Christie-Davies, and will believe that he can be the latest ex-Chelsea talent to thrive on Merseyside.
