Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has already stated that the Bhoys will not consider the goalkeeper’s sale.
Chelsea have had an undisclosed bid for Craig Gordon rejected by Celtic, according to the Sun.
Gordon’s contract expires at the end of the campaign, although Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers confirmed on Wednesday that the Scottish champions have an option to extend it by a further year.
Following the news of Chelsea’s interest in Gordon, Rodgers stressed the goalkeeper’s sale “is not something we would consider really,” adding: “he is someone I want to lock down for during my time here.”

And, according to the Sun, the Ulsterman has been true to his word so far.
Chelsea, who like Celtic are looking like champions-elect already this season, are said to be keen on Gordon as a replacement for second-choice shot-stopper Asmir Begovic, who is reportedly wanted by Bournemouth in a £12 million deal.

However, the Bosnian’s exit is unlikely to be sanctioned until the Blues can land a replacement.
Selling Gordon would leave Celtic with only Dorus de Vries, signed from Nottingham Forest in the summer, and fellow veteran Logan Bailly as senior options in goal, with the Belgian also linked with a possible departure this month.
How much would it take to lure Gordon from Celtic Park this month?
