Chelsea would love to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
Tottenham striker Kane has been linked heavily with a move away in the build up to the summer, with Tottenham destined for another trophy less season.
For all of Kane’s brilliance he still has now silverware to show for it, and the striker has made no secret of his desire to start adding to his trophy cabinet.
Chelsea are now looking for a striker, and it is claimed that Thomas Tuchel would love to add Kane to his squad.
However, any transfer looks highly unlikely, as Tottenham don’t want to sell to a direct rival.
Daniel Levy’s stance is rather understandable, given the anger that would be created by selling Kane to a London rival.
Regardless of the fee, Tottenham fans would be up in arms to see Kane depart them, only to join one of their biggest local rivals.
Levy is likely to demand a huge fee for Kane from any side this summer, but letting Tottenham’s star player go to Stamford Bridge is practically unthinkable.

If Kane was placed into Chelsea’s side they would surely immediately become title contenders.
But it seems likely that Tuchel will have to search elsewhere for a new number nine in the summer, if he wants to increase his side’s firepower.
