According to The Mirror, Chelsea value Kurt Zouma at around £25millon amid links with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Reports broke in France on Thursday about Zouma. RMC Sport claimed that Tottenham want to land Zouma, with Jose Mourinho driving the interest.
That report noted that a deal would be difficult, with Chelsea likely to demand a high price for the French centre back this summer.
Now, it’s stated that Zouma is rated at around £25million, though whether Chelsea will add a ‘rival tax’ on that remains to be seen. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see them charge a higher price for Spurs than for anyone else.
One interesting note here is that Football.London claim that there is talk Zouma may actually cost £60million-plus, which would certainly price Spurs out of a move.
A valuation somewhere between the two figures may make some sense. BBC Sport claimed last summer that they wanted in excess of £30million for the Frenchman.

On the one hand, Zouma racked up 32 appearances for Chelsea since then. On the other, the global pandemic has hit clubs hard, and may bring transfer fees down.
For now, let’s work on the £25million. Tottenham don’t have a huge budget to work with this summer, and may find it difficult to pay such a fee unless they can engineer some sales.
Mourinho paid £12.5million to land Zouma in 2014, meaning he could now pay double the price in what seems like the best case scenario for Spurs – and that ultimately makes a deal this summer seem unlikely, even if Mourinho is keen.
