Newcastle United are thought to be chasing the signature of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

According to a report in the London Evening Standard, Chelsea want assurances that Tammy Abraham will be given regular first-team action at Newcastle United before sanctioning any move.
Newcastle have been chasing Abraham for much of the summer so far, with the striker believed to be near the top of Rafael Benitez’s wishlist.

At one stage it appeared to be certain that Abraham would move to St. James’ Park.
However, the deal has been thrown into more doubt recently.
Abraham is said to reluctant to move north, as he would have to relocate.

And Chelsea are also demanding that Newcastle assure them that the 19-year-old will be given regular action.
If Abraham did move to Newcastle he would be in competition with Dwight Gayle to lead the line.
Abraham netted 26 goals for Bristol City in the Championship over the past campaign.
