Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente is reportedly wanted by Chelsea.

According to ESPN, Chelsea have made Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente their Plan B target if they can’t secure a late deal for Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.
The Blues have already tied up a deal for midfielder Ross Barkley this month, but manager Antonio Conte has been pursuing another striker throughout the month too.
Alvaro Morata’s goals have dried up of late, and whilst Michy Batshuayi has impressed in recent weeks, Conte has been desperate to add a target man to his attacking ranks.

The likes of Edin Dzeko, Peter Crouch and even Ashley Barnes have been touted for moves to Stamford Bridge, but ESPN report that they are focusing on a deal for Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud.
However, if anything goes wrong in that particular move, then they will target a raid on another London rival by making a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente.
Chelsea boss Conte signed Llorente for Juventus back in 2013, and has made a number of attempts to re-sign the Spaniard, before he moved to Tottenham back in August.

Llorente, 32, may have hit 15 Premier League goals for Swansea City last season, but he has he has started just one Premier League game for Spurs and scored just one goal, making an additional 12 substitute appearances.
Llorente hasn’t impressed under Mauricio Pochettino so far, and Tottenham may now be bracing themselves for a last-gasp bid from Chelsea for his services – but it will all hinge on Giroud’s potential move to Stamford Bridge.
