According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea don’t want defender Andreas Christensen to leave the club this summer amid interest from Liverpool and Southampton.
Christensen, 21, joined Chelsea from Brondby in his native Denmark back in 2012, and he has been working his way up through the ranks at Stamford Bridge ever since.
After making just three first-team appearances, Christensen moved on loan to Borussia Monchengladbach in 2015, penning a two-year loan deal with the Bundesliga side.
Christensen has starred in Germany, making more than 75 appearances in all competitions, earning valuable experience ahead of his return to Stamford Bridge this summer.

When Christensen heads back to West London, he will be met with strong competition for places, given that Antonio Conte already has the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta, Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Nathan Ake at his disposal.
Now, the Daily Mail report that Chelsea do want Christensen in the first-team squad next season, with four Premier League rivals believed to be keen on signing him should the Blues change their mind.

Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City and Southampton are all believed to be interested in signing Christensen, who has already won eight international caps for Denmark.
Christensen has impressed with his reading of the game in Germany, and he will expect first-team football at Chelsea when he does return, or he will be looking to leave the club – with Liverpool and Southampton two of the prime destinations given their defensive needs, as the Saints gear up to sell Virgil van Dijk, possibly with the intention of getting Christensen back in exchange.
