Graham Potter’s Chelsea are confident that Mason Mount does not want to leave for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, according to TEAMtalk.
The report has claimed that Chelsea believe that Mount wants to stay at Stamford Bridge, and that the England international midfielder ‘has no intention of pursuing options away from Stamford Bridge and that he will sign his new long-term deal’.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners will hold talks with Mount over a new deal in January after the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
The Guardian have reported that Liverpool are looking at the situation and want to secure the services of Mount.

Mason Mount from Chelsea to Liverpool is unlikely
In our view, it is unlikely that Chelsea will sell Mason Mount to Premier League rivals Liverpool anytime soon.
Mount is one of the best young players around and is a key figure at Chelsea.
The Blues are surely not going to part company with the 23-year-old, who is part of the England squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
After all, Mount has the potential to become world class, and Chelsea are certainly not going to let go of such a talent player, especially to rivals Liverpool.
