Manchester City also keen on Celtic wonderkid.

Chelsea and Manchester City are set to anger Celtic by making approaches for Karamoko Dembele in January, according to the Scottish Sun.

Dembele attracted worldwide attention when Celtic picked him at just 13-years-old for their under-20 side.

In doing so, Celtic let the cat out of the bag, alerting top clubs around Britain of Dembele’s outstanding talent.

The Scottish Sun report both Chelsea and Manchester City will make plays to try and sign Dembele to their academies, with the striker too young to be signed to a professional contract.

Both City and Chelsea are prolific in their hunt to sign up top youngsters from around the world, although Celtic will hope they can prevent Dembele from leaving.

The obvious case they can point to is former Celtic prodigy Islam Feruz who Chelsea tempted away at just 14.

He has never played a first team game for the Blues, and is out on loan at Royal Mouscron in Belgium, and at 20 looks like he will not fulfil his potential.
