Bundesliga outfit Leverkusen appear to have a real star in Emrehan Gedikli – but could he leave Germany for Premier League giants Chelsea.

Europa League winners Chelsea are scouting Bayer Leverkusen’s prolific young striker Emrehan Gedikli, according to Turkish Football.
As it stands, The Blues will not be able to sign any new players during the summer due to a FIFA-imposed transfer ban which they have so far failed to appeal against successfully.
But this should not affect their interest in Gedikli, who would be a signing for the future rather than the here and now.
An exceptional goalscorer who is eligible to play for Turkey or Germany at international level, Gedikli has scored 23 times in 25 games for Bayer Leverkusen’s reserves – averaging a goal every 79 minutes.
The teenager, who is at his best through the middle but is also comfortable on the right-hand side, has also netted three goals in five matches for Germany’s youth sides so far.

Bayer Leverkusen have produced some seriously exciting young talent in recent years with Kai Havertz, Leroy Sane and 2014 World Cup winner Christoph Kramer all rising through the ranks at the Bay Arena.
The test is whether Gedikli can follow in their footsteps.
