Graham Potter’s Chelsea believe that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could win the race for Borussia Dortmund and England international midfielder Jude Bellingham in the summer of 2023, according to The Athletic.
Chelsea think Liverpool could win Jude Bellingham race
The report published this morning has claimed that Chelsea and Liverpool are among the clubs interested in signing Bellingham from Dortmund next summer.
While Chelsea have not given up on signing the 19-year-old, they know that ‘they face an uphill battle’ to secure the services of the teenager, described as “elite” by former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton in The Daily Mail in December 2022.
The report has added that there is a feeling within Chelsea that ‘Liverpool would be in pole position should the 19-year-old join a Premier League club at the end of this campaign’.

AS in Spain have claimed that Real Madrid, who won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season, are keen on Bellingham.
Long way to go
In our opinion, clubs who are keen on Jude Bellingham should continue to persevere.
The England international is not going to leave Dortmund in the middle of the season, so there is plenty of time for Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid to make their respective pitches to the midfielder.
Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool all are massive clubs and global brands, and Bellingham would not find it easy to pick one of them.
