Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri believes that Chelsea and Inter are ready to discuss the future of Mohamed Salah.
Chelsea don’t seem able to shake rumours that Mohamed Salah is headed for a spell away from Stamford Bridge and today could be a crucial chapter for the Egyptian winger.
Despite Jose Mourinho’s insistence that Salah isn’t headed out on loan in January, there is frequent speculation that he could be sent away to get some first-team experience as opportunities in West London are hard to come by.
Inter boss Roberto Mancini has only taken the reins relatively recently and is still trying to make his mark on a side starved of creativity.
His first transfer window back at the Nerazzurri promises to be an interesting one and it is believed that Salah is amongst his targets.
The main priority is said to be Arsenal’s Lukas Podolski, but Palmeri also states that the Inter transfer guru will meet with Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo at 11am this morning to discuss Salah.
Inter are said to want a loan until the end of the season with a fee set if they want to make the deal permanent then. Chelsea are unlikely to risk losing Salah in the long term, but a loan could be mutually beneficial.
