Chelsea are reportedly keen on appointing the Wolverhampton Wanderers manager.

According to an exclusive report from the Sun, Chelsea are lining up a move for Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, if and when they decide to part ways with current manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Portuguese boss has worked wonders during his time in charge at Molineux, and he has earned rave reviews from fans and pundits alike, having guided his Wolves side to seventh spot in the Premier League table this season.

Sarri, meanwhile, has struggled at Chelsea, and with his side currently sitting in sixth spot in the Premier League table, his future in west London is far from certain.

And the Sun suggests that the Blues are keen to appoint Wolves chief Nuno, should they eventually decide to cut ties with the Italian.

Wolves will surely resist any approach made for their manager, however.

The Black Country outfit do hold all of the cards, with the 45-year-old still contracted to the club until he summer of 2021, according to the Express & Star, but if Chelsea really want Nuno, it will be incredibly hard for Wolves to keep hold of him.
