Chelsea are reportedly set to launch a new offer to sign Inter Milan talent Cesare Casadei, with the Italian youth international also on Arsenal’s radar this summer.
According to Tuttosport via Inter-News, the west London side are readying a €15m (£12m) bid for the 19-year-old central midfielder, with Inter open to selling Casadei in order to raise funds this summer to balance the books for the upcoming Serie A season.
Chelsea have already gone big this summer on a youth talent with the Blues winning the race to sign Aston Villa prospect Carney Chukwuemeka, another player Arsenal were reportedly interested in, and now, Thomas Tuchel is looking to beat Mikel Arteta to another top talent in Inter starlet Casadei.
Labelled by Football Transfers as a ‘generational’ Italian prospect, Casadei has been regarded for years as one of Inter’s most exciting youth players and a talent who could go on to become a superstar in the future, and Chelsea are seemingly working hard to sign the teenager this summer.
The Blues have won of the best youth development programmes in Europe, and with Inter open to selling Casadei this summer, it makes sense why Chelsea are well in the race to sign the 19-year-old midfielder, who could develop well in west London for the Premier League giants.
