Tottenham Hotspur’s Toby Alderweireld is one of the best central defenders in the Premier League.
The Belgian defender is regarded as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League, and is a key player in the current Spurs team.
The report claims that he is one of a number of Tottenham players who are not happy with the financial package being offered, and he is open to moving elsewhere.

Alderweireld, who earns a reported £49k-per-week, has two years left to run on his current deal and Spurs have an option to extend it by another 12 months till 2020.
The 28-year-old wants to be among the top earners at Spurs, but discussions over a new deal haven’t progressed according to plans.
The report adds that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is refusing to increase Alderweireld’s salary to the club’s £80k-per-week ceiling.
Spurs have recently lost Kyle Walker to Premier League rivals Manchester City, and cannot afford to lose a player of Alderweireld’s quality, especially to a direct rival club.
