Chelsea are reportedly considering bringing Tammy Abraham back after his stunning spell on loan at Aston Villa.

Abraham has proved to be a sensational signing for the Villans. His tally stands at 11 goals in 14 Championship games, but his form under Dean Smith has gone to a completely different level.
He has scored seven in his last four appearances, including four against Nottingham Forest in midweek and one in the victory over Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Villa may be eighth in the table, but it is difficult to imagine Smith’s men not being in the promotion mix come the end of the season if Abraham can maintain anything like his current form over a much longer period.

However, Chelsea may decide to deal a major blow to Villa’s promotion hopes. The Sunday People (02/12; page 47) reports that the Blues are now thinking about recalling the striker in January as Maurizio Sarri’s strikers struggle to capture the imagination.
The People reports that the Blues could be tempted to bring Abraham back into the picture to bolster their Europa League ranks and may be tempted to introduce him into the Premier League side depending on certain factors.

It would be a huge setback for Villa to lose Abraham. They have so much attacking quality anyway, but Abraham’s performances have been a key reason for their recent success.
Replacing him therefore, will undoubtedly be a January task that Smith will desperately want to avoid being handed.
