Chelsea reignite interest in Swansea striker Fernando Llorente with Romelu Lukaku’s switch to Manchester United from Everton as good as done.
Chelsea have reignited their interest in Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente, according to the Metro, a player they tried to sign in January.
This focus back on the Spaniard coincides with the BBC reporting Manchester United have agreed a £75m fee with Everton to sign Romelu Lukaku.

The Blues were also in the race to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge – having sold him to the Toffees in 2014 – but look set to miss out to United.
With Diego Costa also being heavily linked with a return to Atletico Madrid by Sky Sports, it is little wonder Antonio Conte is desperately trying to find attacking alternatives.
In May, Llorente admitted that Conte – whom he previously worked with at Juventus – had been in touch with the Swans about a possible January deal.
“I know Chelsea wanted me in January,” the 32-year-old was quoted by the Metro.
“We were fighting relegation, there was a cause. I could not go. If a big club comes in for me in the future who knows because every player wants to play for a big club.”
Llorente scored 15 goals in 33 Premier League appearances to help Swansea avoid the drop in 2016/17, so whether he would now be interested in a move to West London remains to be seen.
