Leicester City are reportedly blocking any move from Chelsea or Everton to sign Jamie Vardy.

According to The Mirror, Leicester City won’t allow striker Jamie Vardy to leave the club before Thursday’s transfer deadline amid interest from Chelse and Everton.
The Foxes have managed to hang on to the likes of Danny Drinkwater and Riyad Mahrez as the transfer deadline draws ever closer, and Vardy looks set to be a similar case.
A 2012 signing from Fleetwood Town, Vardy has been something of a late bloomer, smashing 24 goals in Leicester’s remarkable title-winning 2015-16 campaign whilst also becoming an England international.

Last term, Vardy only hit 13 league goals as he struggled to replicate his success, but with two goals on the opening day of this season, Vardy has given fans a timely reminder of what he can do.
Speculation still surrounds Vardy’s future heading into deadline day, but The Mirror report that Leicester will stand firm and block any moves from Chelsea and Everton to sign the striker on Thursday.
It’s claimed that Everton were looking to hijack Chelsea’s £40million bid for the 30-year-old in the final hours of the transfer window, but Leicester have no intention of selling their star striker.

Everton are desperate for a new striker having sold Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United earlier this summer, and with ex-Leicester transfer chief Steve Walsh calling the shots at Goodison Park, its no surprise to see them linked with a move for Vardy.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are still looking for another striker even after signing Alvaro Morata this summer, but both clubs will have to look elsewhere as Leicester prepare to snub all interest in their top striker in the final hours of the summer transfer window.
