Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are set to make a new bid for Arsenal target and Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Chelsea are about to make a “new bid” for Casadei, who has also been linked with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Romano has added that Nice are also interested in Casadei, and that former Italian champions Inter will make a decision after they get the offers from the French club and Chelsea.
La Repubblica reported on July 30 that Arsenal have had an offer for Casadei turned down, with Inter looking for €20 million (£16.89 million) for the 19-year-old.

Could a transfer happen?
In our opinion, Chelsea could be able to sign Arsenal target Cesare Casadei from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window.
Inter have not categorically ruled out selling the teenager, which means that Chelsea could be able to convince them to cash in on the teenager.
Now, of course, Casadei himself will need to be convinced about a move to Chelsea, as we know that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners do tend to loan out their young players.
But, if Chelsea are able to show the Italy Under-19 international a clear pathway into the first team, then they could be able to persuade him to make the move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
