Graham Potter’s Chelsea are planning to make a €100 million (£87.46 million) bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, a player Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal want to bring to the Emirates Stadium, according to CMW.

Chelsea plan bid for Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic

Italian news outlet CMW have reported that Chelsea are interested in signing Vlahovic from Juventus in the January transfer window and are planning to bid €100 million (£87.46 million) for the Serbia international striker.

The report has added that Juventus have already identified potential replacements for the 22-year-old.

This report will come as a blow for Chelsea’s London and Premier League rivals Arsenal.

That’s because the Gunners are also reported to be keen on securing the services of Vlahovic.

Earlier this month, Calciomercato reported that Arsenal were leading the race for Vlahovic, who joined Juventus from Serie A rivals Fiorentina in January 2022.

The 22-year-old striker had the chance to move to Arsenal in January 2022 before he switched to Juventus.

As reported by Sky Sports in January 2022, the Serbian wanted only to move to Juventus and turned down a potential switch to the Emirates Stadium.

Earlier this week, Tuttosport claimed that Arsenal are among the clubs who have made contact with the agent of Vlahovic.

Stats

Vlahovic has scored six goals and given one assist in 10 Serie A matches for Juventus so far this season.

The striker has scored one goal and given one assist in five UEFA Champions League matches for the Bianconeri this campaign.
