According to Sky Sports, Birmingham City star Che Adams will travel to Southampton for a medical and will discuss personal terms over the weekend.

It has been reported that Championship club Birmingham and Premier League outfit Southampton have been holding talks over the transfer of Adams for a fee of £15 million.

Good signing for Southampton?

Adams is a very good forward who can also operate as a midfielder, and the 22-year-old would be a very good signing for Southampton, not just for now, but in the long run as well.

The youngster has done well for Birmingham in recent years, and the 22-year-old is ready to make the step-up to the Premier League.

According to WhoScored, the forward made 16 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the league for the Blues, scoring five goals and providing two assists in the process.
