The Chelsea winger is close to finalising a long-term loan move to the Scottish champions.

Celtic are expected to secure the services of Chelsea winger Charly Musonda until 2019 when his loan move from the Blues is eventually finalised.
Musonda travelled from Stamford Bridge, where he was an unused substitute in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Newcastle United in the FA Cup, to Celtic Park on Sunday to continue negotiations, according to Sky Sports.

The Belgian Under-21 international has only made six appearances for Chelsea this season and has been frustrated not to be given more opportunities.
Sky Sports adds that Roma and Spanish side Leganes were keen to take him on loan but that a long spell at Celtic is the next step in Musonda’s development.

The Chelsea connections of Bhoys manager Brendan Rodgers, who spent four years as a youth coach at the Premier League giants, may have helped Celtic beat off other suitors.
Musonda will increase the stiff competition for wide places at Parkhead, with Scott Sinclair, Patrick Roberts and James Forrest already options for Rodgers.
