Sky Sports have claimed on their Transfer Centre (Tuesday, 10:14) that Championship club Middlesbrough are interested in signing Everton winger Yannick Bolasie.

Boro already have money to spend after selling Ben Gibson and Patrick Bamford in the last fortnight, and it is believed Everton value Bolasie – who they paid Palace £26million to sign – at £15million.
The Guardian have claimed that the 29-year-old has been informed that he is surplus to requirements at Goodison Park, after Marco Silva brought Richarlison in from Watford and Ademola Lookman back from his loan spell at RB Leipzig.
It is believed that Bolasie’s former side Crystal Palace are interested, as are Burnley, but Middlesbrough have the best chance of landing the DR Congo international due to the money in the bank.
Bolasie struggled to recapture the form that saw him earn the £26million move to Everton in the summer of 2016 after he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in November of that year.
Returning midway through 2017-18, he managed just one goal and no assists in 16 Premier League appearances. Bolasie has three years remaining on his £75,000-a-week contract (Daily Star).
