French outlet But! Football Club report that Paris Saint-Germain could replace Mauricio Pochettino with Tottenham boss Antonio Conte in the summer. It is claimed Conte could ‘pack his bags’ if things do not improve.

On Wednesday evening, after a 1-0 defeat to Tottenham – the club’s fourth defeat in five games – Conte questioned his own future as Spurs manager. There are doubts that he could end up leaving, after only a few months.

At PSG, a new manager could arrive, too. Pochettino is set to win Ligue 1 this season with the French side 13 clear; his side are 1-0 up on aggregate against Real Madrid. Pochettino has always been linked with an exit.

Zinedine Zidane remains the likeliest candidate to come in for Pochettino – but PSG are also said to be keeping an eye on Conte’s spell at Tottenham. The report claims he could ‘pack his bags’ and join PSG in the summer.

Conte to PSG: Tottenham have not done enough to keep Italian

Conte is the best thing that has happened to Tottenham since the club managed to get themselves into the final of the Champions League – back in 2019. Spurs have faced adversity, but Conte was supposedly the future.

Tottenham have needed to back the ex-Chelsea gaffer to keep him happy. Conte has done his part, improving the Tottenham system and changing the mentality – even supposedly tempting Harry Kane to remain at Spurs.

PSG, with much more finances in place and a real chance of winning the Champions League, will be tempting for Conte. Tottenham need to get a run of form together and save any chance of a top-four finish, or lose Conte.
