According to the Daily Mail, RB Leipzig are keen to sign Aston Villa starlet Jaden Philogene-Bidace.
The 18-year-old’s contract at Villa Park is set to expire at the end of the season.
As a result, the Bundesliga side believe they can land the highly-rated teenager, and for a relatively cheap price.
The Daily Mail add that Philogene-Bidace spent time with Dean Smith’s first-team over pre-season, appearing in some warm-up fixtures.
Additionally, the prodigy netted a hat-trick on his debut for England’s Under-19 side in a behind-closed-doors friendly earlier this year.

If you’re wondering what type of player Philogene-Bidace is, then Birmingham Live have some excellent detail about the forward.
One of the teenager’s ex-coaches – Ahmed Abdulla – described him as the ‘model winger’ who is ‘very strong and outstanding in one-v-ones’.
The English talent certainly sounds like a bright prospect, and is one who’s enjoying an impressive campaign at Premier League 2 level.
In eight appearances this season, Philogene-Bidace has scored four goals and assisted a further two.

He seems to have bundles of ability and potential, so it’s no surprise to see RB Leipzig – who qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 – express their interest.
If Villa want to keep him, they should probably start preparing a new contract as soon as possible.
