According to the Daily Star, Sevilla expect West Ham to come back in for Youssef En-Nesyri this summer, after failing with a January offer.

The Hammers offered £27 million for the 35-cap Morocco international, although the bid was rejected and a move never materialised.

However, David Moyes never signed an alternative, so his hunt for a striker is very much still on – a point reinforced by the Daily Star‘s revelation.

Sevilla – who qualified for the Champions League Last 16 – wanted £35 million last month, and they are likely to hold out for a similar amount this summer.

That is, unless, he continues his stunning form and his value soars.

En-Nesyri has scored an eye-catching 16 goals so far this season, in what has been a fantastic campaign.

The 23-year-old has netted 12 goals in 20 La Liga appearances, while also bagging four in six Champions League outings.

Seeing as Moyes plans to go back in for the Moroccan, it feels as if the Sevilla No.15 was West Ham’s top target, and still is.

Realistically, the Irons should have the funds to tempt Sevilla.

They were wealthy enough to offer £27 million last month.

In that case, if you add that to Moyes’ budget this summer, there should be enough to submit a decent offer for the in-form marksman.
