According to the Daily Record, Celtic’s Scott Brown is on the verge of a move to Aberdeen having verbally agreed a deal.
It’s claimed that Brown has held talks with Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack, and has now decided to call an end to his time at Celtic.
Brown will become assistant manager to Stephen Glass at Pittodrie, with a step into coaching now imminent for the Celtic captain.
Brown has been offered a one-year deal at Celtic, but he will now turn it down in order to make the move to Pittodrie.
Cormack allegedly held talks with Brown after his display in the Old Firm derby against Rangers, with the veteran verbally agreeing to sign.
The deal will see Brown play for Aberdeen whilst also starting his coaching career, which seems to be what the 35-year-old is seeking right now.

Brown and Glass played together at Hibernian during the early-to-mid 2000’s, and a reunion is now on the cards – which may have been part of the reason why Brown wants to go.
With Neil Lennon gone, Peter Lawwell going and Brown on his way too, the core of Celtic in recent times is being ripped out, and a full-scale rebuild will be on the way.
