Liverpool are amongst the Premier League sides sending scouts to watch Celtic’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

According to a report from the Daily Record, Celtic’s Champions League group-stage clash with Bayern Munich is set to be watched by 17 Premier League scouts, including representatives from Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

The Hoops go into their clash with the Bundesliga giants looking to pull off a shock that would surely see Brendan Rodgers’ men put one foot in the Europa League knockout stages at the very least.

It will be a tough night for the Bhoys as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Bayern in the Allianz Arena two weeks ago, but perhaps a handful of their players will have extra reason to be up for the clash – if they needed any additional motivation.

The Daily Record reports that all but three sides in the Premier League are planning to send scouts to Parkhead to watch the game – with Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele named as potential targets for those in attendance.

The Record confirms that Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal will be represented, while Tottenham sent scouts to watch Tierney in Munich so it would not be a surprise to see Spurs also monitoring the game, despite the fact that Tierney has signed a new six-year deal at Celtic.

Therefore, if Celtic pull off one of the greatest results in their recent history, then it would be no surprise at all to see a number of their players start to be seriously linked with different Premier League sides.
