St Johnstone are reportedly set to sign Anthony Ralston.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic defender Anthony Ralston will join St Johnstone on loan following the signing of Mortiz Bauer.
Having seen Mikael Lustig and Cristian Gamboa leave the club at the end of their contracts in June, Celtic have needed help at right back.
Hatem Abd Elhamed arrived from Hapoel Be’er Sheva, and Neil Lennon has now pounced for another right back by signing Moritz Bauer on loan from Stoke City.
That finishes off Celtic’s right back recruitment, but it now means Ralston is third choice once again, and he can go out on loan rather than sit around at Parkhead not playing.
The 20-year-old is allegedly set to join St Johnstone on loan, with a move expected before Monday’s transfer deadline.
Ralston was touted for a bright future in 2017, as he was starting for Celtic in the Champions League and holding his own against the likes of Neymar.

Sadly, he hasn’t really kicked on since then, and he hasn’t been trusted at right back by Lennon this summer despite exits and an injury to Abd Elhamed.
It’s clear that he needs to go out and play first-team football, and a move to St Johnstone will hopefully enable him to play and develop well before heading back to Parkhead next summer.
