Yeovil Town’s Tom James is reportedly wanted by Celtic, Bournemouth and Swansea City.

According to The Independent, Celtic are interested in snapping up Yeovil Town right back Tom James – but face competition from Bournemouth and Swansea City.
James, 21, started out his career in the youth ranks of Cardiff City having joined the club way back in 2004, spending 13 years with the Bluebirds.
In 2017, James moved on to play first-team football after making just one first-team appearance for Cardiff, joining Yeovil Town in January of last year – and he has impressed for the League Two side.

Now, it’s claimed that James’ displays in the fourth tier of English football have sparked major interest, with Premier League sides Bournemouth and Swansea City keen, along with Scottish giants Celtic.
A bargain for Celtic?
Heading to the Premier League with Bournemouth or Swansea will no doubt be appealing to the young Welshman, but Celtic have plenty to offer as well.

Manager Brendan Rodgers will be aiming for the Champions League group stage again next season, and the prospect of playing in Europe’s premier competition may just sway James into making a move to Glasgow.
Mikael Lustig hasn’t had his best season in a Bhoys shirt, and whilst Anthony Ralston is a promising young player, James can also play at centre back or left back, making him a versatile option for the future.
Yeovil’s financial situation means that they may not be able to command a major fee for James, and Celtic may just be eyeing up the chance to land a bargain this summer.
