Celtic are interested in doing a deal for Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi, according to the Daily Star.
Awoniyi has failed to break into Liverpool’s first-team, despite a five-year stay at Anfield, and Celtic now feel that he could enhance the quality of their attack.
Awoniyi spent last season out on loan with Mainz, where he was labelled ‘sensational’ by their manager Achim Beierlorzer in Kicker.
Celtic now are eager to land him, as they look to strengthen their attack.
The Bhoys looked toothless up-front last night, as they crashed out of the Champions League in the qualifying rounds.
It is, therefore, very little surprise to Celtic linked with another attacking target this summer, even after the addition of Albian Ajeti.

Awoniyi is said to be being tracked as an option for the Bhoys if Odsonne Edouard departs.
The 23-year-old has never scored as prolifically as Odsonne Edouard, but Celtic are believed to see the potential in the Nigerian forward.
If Liverpool are to sell Awoniyi they are apparently looking at £9 million for him, which could make him a fairly expensive addition for Celtic to make.
