Celtic are reportedly looking to sign Manchester United’s Scott McTominay.

According to the Daily Record, Celtic are keen to take Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay on loan – but he’s unsure about the move.
The Bhoys have already snapped up three new signings this month, having landed Oliver Burke, Timothy Weah and Vakoun Issouf Bayo, with the latter a permanent signing.
All three are attack-minded players, but another midfielder appears to be on Brendan Rodgers’ wish list – but it could be another loan signing.
The Daily Record report that Celtic want to bring in Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, with the Red Devils potentially looking to loan him out.
However, Aberdeen are also keen, and it’s noted that McTominay has ‘reservations’ about a move to Parkhead, because of the vast options in that area already.
Celtic do have Scott Brown, Ryan Christie, Callum McGregor, Tom Rogic, Youssouf Mulumbu, Nir Bitton and the out-of-favour Scott Allan who can all play in central midfield.

Having found first-team football hard to come by at United this season, it’s understandable that McTominay wants to make sure that he plays regularly if he does go out on loan.
The 22-year-old, who has five caps for Scotland, may feel that his first-team opportunities would be better off at Aberdeen, meaning Celtic may find that they face a tough battle for McTominay’s signature.
