Rangers now face competition from Celtic for Max Lowe.

According to the Daily Record, Celtic have opened talks about a deal to sign left back Max Lowe amid continued links to bitter rivals Rangers.
The Gers are looking for a left back themselves, and the Daily Record noted last month that Steven Gerrard wants to bring Lowe to Ibrox.
Now though, Rangers face competition from their neighbours, as it’s believed that Celtic are now seeking a deal for the Derby County defender.
Celtic are believed to be keen on Lowe on loan or permanently amid questions over Kieran Tierney’s future, and they could now swoop in to beat Rangers to the 22-year-old.
Quick and confident on the ball, Lowe has a bright future ahead of him, and he’s done enough in Scotland to make an impression on the two biggest clubs around – at least in the eyes of most.
Lowe was outspoken about Rangers last season, noting to The Scottish Sun that Aberdeen are a ‘massive club’, and that the Gers are ‘trying to be right up there’, adding that the Dons can pass them in performance levels in comments that didn’t go down well with the Ibrox faithful.

Additionally, the left back accused Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield of trying to get Graeme Shinnie sent off (The National) whilst suggesting other Gers players were being overly dramatic in a Pittodrie clash.
Signing for Celtic over Rangers would be strike three for Lowe, and having been so outspoken about Rangers last season, it would be little surprise to see him turn up at Parkhead next.
