Celtic reportedly want more than £15 million for a player who’ll be worth dramatically more in a few years.

The Leicester Mercury have reported that Celtic have decided they want more than £15 million for Kristoffer Ajer.
The big Norwegian centre-back is being linked with a move to Brendan Rodgers’s Leicester City side after they lost Harry Maguire to Manchester United this week.
Rodgers knows Ajer from his time as Celtic manager but, according to The Leicester Mercury, the Hoops will demand in excess of £15 million.
But the truth is, Celtic should hold out for more, for two reasons.
Firstly, Leicester have a lot more than £15 million available after picking up £80 million for Maguire. And secondly, Ajer, who has three years left on his contract at Parkhead, could be worth an absolute fortune if he does the business in the Premier League.
He is still only 21 and two or three good seasons at The King Power will cause his price to skyrocket.
Receiving £15 million or a little more would still be cracking business by Celtic, but fans would be disappointed if that was the selling price. Moussa Dembele fetched £5 million more than that and Ajer is no less of a brilliant prospect.
Chief executive Peter Lawwell should demand a minimum of £20 million and, with AC Milan also reportedly interested, there could be a bidding war.
