Celtic and Crystal Palace have reportedly scouted the teenage midfielder.

Celtic and Crystal Palace are amongst the sides to send scouts to have a look at Stabaek prospect Emil Bohinen, according to a report from TEAMtalk.
The 19-year-old has made a handful of appearances for the Stabaek first-team and has also featured for Norway at various youth levels. Despite his senior career just being in its infancy however, he is attracting plenty of high-profile attention.
TEAMtalk reports that Celtic, Palace and Burnley are all monitoring the midfielder – who is the son of former Premier League midfielder Lars Bohinen – while clubs in Germany and France are also keeping a keen eye on his progress.
Should the Hoops manage to win the race to sign the teenager, they will perhaps be hoping that Bohinen has the ability to emulate Kristoffer Ajer who has largely been a revelation since arriving at Parkhead from Norway three years ago.

Ajer took some time to get going after joining from Start in 2016. But he has developed and improved significantly in the last couple of years and now looks destined to be a stalwart of the Celtic side for years to come.
Bohinen would initially face a tough task trying to break into the Hoops midfield if the Scottish Premiership champions did end up winning the race for his signature. Neil Lennon’s men have so much quality in the middle of the park, but perhaps that may make a move to Parkhead more appealing to the youngster.
