According to BILD, Celtic are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach forward Hannes Wolf.
What’s the story?
Well, the Bundesliga outfit only signed the 22-year-old on a permanent basis back in the summer, but he could already be leaving with Celtic keen.
Wolf – who cost €9.5m (£8m) – was given a healthy amount of game time at the start of the campaign, but has been benched in recent weeks.
The Austrian has made seven Bundesliga appearances this term.
BILD add that Trabzonspor and Rapid Vienna are also interested in the forward as well as Celtic, with a January move looking possible.
Wolf is predominantly a left winger, making five appearances there this season, but he has also played in a central role once this term too.
What can Hannes Wolf bring to Celtic?

The Borussia Monchengladbach No.11 is largely an unknown quantity, so Celtic fans would be forgiven for not knowing who he is.
In that respect, a comparison might be of use.
According to Football Talent Scout, Wolf plays like Atlético Madrid and France forward Antoine Griezmann.
They are compared as a result of their tendency to drift across the frontline, and also their quick feet, superb technique and eye for goal.

Interestingly, Football Talent Scout believe Wolf works well alongside a physical centre-forward, which is exactly what Giorgos Giakoumakis is.
By the sounds of it, the Bhoys have identified a fine attacker who would bring a lot to Parkhead, if Celtic can win the race for his services.
With Wolf, Kyogo Furuhashi and Jota behind Giakoumakis, Ange Postecoglou could have a mouthwatering frontline at Celtic Park.
