Celtic, Millwall and Cardiff City want to sign Jamal Lowe after the Wigan Athletic winger’s midweek masterclass in an historic 8-0 win, according to The Mail.
In the space of just 90 minutes against a beleaguered, battered Hull City, a 25-year-old attacker produced more assists than he had managed in the previous 45 games combined.
Lowe scored his fifth goal in Wigan colours during a result which made the so-called Tigers look more like helpless kittens, while setting up three more as Paul Cook’s crisis-hit side stormed to their biggest ever league win on Tuesday night.
But while a stunning eight-goal thrashing has gone down in Latics history, it alone will not save the 2013 FA Cup winners from financial meltdown.
Wigan were placed in administration a fortnight ago, meaning they may have no choice but to let a whole host of star players leave in their droves.
After goalkeeper David Marshall was tipped to make a return to the green half of Glasgow, the Mail claims that team-mate Lowe is also on Celtic’s radar.

The well-travelled speedster only joined Wigan in a £2 million deal from Portsmouth last summer.
But, after a series of lively performances since the Championship returned a month ago, he has played his way on to the radar of not only the dominant force of Scottish football but also Cardiff and Millwall.
With James Forrest, Moi Elyounoussi, Mikey Johnstone and Maryan Shved all on Celtic’s books already, it remains to be seen how high Lowe is on their summer wish list.
