Celtic have opted not to move for Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass, even though he was willing to take a pay cut to move to Glasgow
According to the Daily Record, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has no interested in signing Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass.
Snodgrass looks set to leave Hull in the January transfer window, as he has just turned down a new deal with the Tigers.
Hull wanted to secure Snodgrass’ future, with his current deal running out at the end of the season, but the Scottish international has turned down an improved contract.
Snodgrass reportedly wanted a move to Celtic, who he supports, and he was willing to take a pay cut to get his dream move.
However, Rodgers reportedly has no interest in moving for the 29-year-old – with other targets believed to be on his radar.
Despite Celtic not wanting him, Snodgrass has plenty of offers from elsewhere. Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland are all said to be interested in the winger.
Hull are believed to be wanting around £4 million, if they are to sell their most dangerous attacking outlet.
