Celtic have reportedly planned to discuss Neil Lennon’s future after the upcoming Scottish Cup final.

The Daily Mail has reported that Celtic will speak with Neil Lennon regarding his future after Saturday’s Scottish Cup final with Hearts.

Lennon returned to Celtic on an interim basis in February after Brendan Rodgers quit to become Leicester City manager.

The former Hoops midfielder and boss led the club to an eighth successive Premiership title earlier this month.

But a number of big names – including Jose Mourinho – have been linked with replacing Rodgers on a long-term basis in Glasgow.

It remains to be seen whether Lennon will get the job but, according to The Daily Mail, the club’s hierarchy will speak to him after the game against Hearts at Hampden Park.

Victory would result in Celtic clinching a historic Treble Treble. They had already won the Scottish League Cup at the time of Lennon’s arrival, with the Northern Irishman taking over a team who also had a seven-point lead in the Premiership too.
