Billel Omrani scored twice against Celtic during the Champions League qualifier – is he on his way to the Scottish Premiership now?

Celtic are closing in on the signing of Cluj forward Billel Omrani after making a bid of £3 million, according to GSP.
Speculation has swirled around Omrani ever since GSP claimed that a mystery Scottish club were interested in snapping up the 26-year-old before the transfer window slammed shut. Celtic always seemed the most likely after the Frenchman scored twice against them in that infamous 4-3 defeat to Cluj in Champions League qualifying earlier in August.
And new reports suggest that Omrani is indeed on his way to Parkhead.
Reports have emerged stating that Celtic have made a £3 million bid for the former Marseille striker. Negotiations are at an advanced stage and The Hoops could even unveil Omrani on Thursday or Friday.

The former France U19 international has found the net eight times in 15 games already this season, including that clinical brace in Glasgow, and he’s as much a creator as he is a goalscorer. Omrani produced 15 assists in all competitions across 2018/19.
He’s a proven winner too, lifting successive Romanian titles at Cluj and that should stand him in good stead at a Celtic side dreaming of nine in a row.
