Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Jordan Jones at Ibrox, with Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic also claimed to be interested.

Rangers are ready to make a bid to bring Jordan Jones to Ibrox, but Steven Gerrard’s side are facing competition from Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic, according to TEAMtalk.

It has been reported that Rangers are ready to make an offer of £500,000 for the Kilmarnock playmaker.

The 23-year-old is claimed to be keen on leaving Kilmarnock in the summer transfer window, with Rangers’ Old Firm rivals Celtic reported to be considering making a move for the youngster.

According to TEAMtalk, Swansea City, Sheffield United and Hull City in the Championship in England are also keeping tabs on the Northern Ireland international.

Fast move

Jones is a very good playmaker who has proved his quality in the Scottish Premiership, and there is no surprise that Old Firm duo Celtic and Rangers are reportedly looking at the youngster.

With the summer transfer window closing in a matter of days, both the Hoops and the Gers have to act fast in order to secure the services of Jones.
