The Celtic-linked winger Niclas Eliasson is just ‘details’ away from finalising a transfer to France, according to Expressen.
The Scottish Sun reported earlier this week that Celtic were ‘plotting a move’ for the Bristol City winger, in the event that they fail to sign Alfie Doughty from Charlton Athletic.
But Nimes, it seems, will deny the Bhoys that opportunity.
Expressen claims that Eliasson is expected to cost just 25 million Swedish Krona (around £2.2m), after entering the final year of his Bristol City contract.
The 24-year-old scored or assisted 15 goals in 37 Championship games for the Robins last season, but has yet to appear in any competition bar the EFL Cup this time around.
Doughty managed just five contributions in 29 league outings last term, as Charlton dropped into League One.

The 20-year-old’s deal is also up next summer, but Celtic’s hopes of a cut-price transfer appear to have been dented by the Addicks’ recent change of ownership.
Celtic have allowed the left-back Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo to leave this window, following the departures of left-side wingers Jonny Hayes and Daniel Arzani earlier in the summer.
