Celtic are seeking attacking reinforcements in the January transfer window.

According to the Daily Star, Celtic have offered £1.75million for Dunajska Streda striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo ahead of the January transfer window.
The Bhoys sold Moussa Dembele to Lyon in August, and with Leigh Griffiths taking a break from the game, Odsonne Edouard has been left as Celtic’s only recognised centre forward.
Paris Saint-Germain ace Timothy Weah is nearing a loan move to Parkhead, but Brendan Rodgers understandable wants even more firepower – especially having lost to Rangers on Saturday.
Now, the Daily Star claim that a surprise name is in the frame, as Dunajska Streda hitman Bayo is believed to be a top target.
Bayo, 21, started out in his native Ivory Coast before a move to Tunisia with Etoile du Sahel, and he joined Dunajska Streda in Slovakia last summer.
With 18 goals and seven assists in just 23 games this season, Bayo has been in red-hot form, attracting major interest off the back of his exploits in front of goal.

Celtic are now thought to have offered £1.75million for the striker’s signature, in the hope of completing an exciting January move for a promising young striker.
Adding Bayo and Weah should bolster Celtic’s options in attack, though some may be hoping for a more experienced option than an 18-year-old and a relative unknown in Slovakia.
